Terms & Conditions
Refund of tuition fees
We make every effort to keep our prices as low as possible and therefore regret that we cannot return payments to students who withdraw from a course. However, consideration will be given to refunding course fees up to 14 days before a course start date; a £10 administration charge will be levied. Transfer between courses is sometimes possible. However, unless this is on the advice of Yateley Adult and Community Learning, a £10 administration charge will be levied.
Fees will not normally be refunded unless we cancel a course. Alterations or amendments may be made after printing of the brochure; please check at enrolment that you are not affected. Tuition fees are correct at time of going to publication. Variations may be made without notice up to and including the date of enrolment. We reserve the right to reduce or vary the duration of a course and to close a course at any time if attendance numbers drop below a reasonable level.
If you have lived outside the European Economic Area during the last three years you may be considered as an overseas learner, in which case special fee rates will be payable.
Minimum Enrolment Number
If a course does not have enough learners enrolled it may not run. Sometimes we can run courses for a shorter period at the same cost, if all learners are in agreement.
If we have to close a course prior to commencement you will receive a full refund. If you have to withdraw from a course refunds will only be given for a serious medical reason supported by a doctor’s certificate. We cannot, however, refund examination fees and will charge a centre administration fee.
Some courses may carry additional expenses for materials; please check with the Community Learning Team at time of enrolment.
