This course is free for those who are 19+ and in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit and will help to support future job applications. It is an excellent addition to your CV.

Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (EFAW) is ideal for organisations whose first aid needs assessment identifies the need for someone trained in emergency first aid.
All courses are delivered by an accredited trainer, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes. All our first aid courses meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per HSE requirements.
The qualification is fully recognised by the HSE as a Trade Body Qualification
Delivered in a classroom setting offering practical hands-on approach that enables you to gain the skills and confidence to use first aid skills in a real life situation. Max 12 attendees.

This One Day Course covers:
Initial care; First Aid at Work Regulations and Rules, Fears of First Aid, Barriers, Initial Assessment, Unconscious Breathing and Recovery Position
Cardiac Problems; The Heart, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attacks and CPR, One Rescuer CPR, Chest only compressions, CPR handover to a second rescuer.
Other Primary care First Aid Problems; Adult choking, Conscious and unconscious, Serious bleeding management and wounds, Shock, Spinal injury management, Burns and scalds, Anaphylactic shock and Allergies, Seizures and Epilepsy
A certificate valid for 3 years will be issued to all attendees on completion of the course. Students will need to complete all tasks in order to receive the certificate
