German For Beginners Term 3
This is a continuation course from Term 2 and will further cover the basic language needed in everyday situations.
You will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a supportive manner. Students will make genuine progress and gain a real sense of achievement as they learn to communicate and carry out simple tasks.
There will be emphasis on speaking and listening so that you can use German to communicate at a basic level about the following topics: Towns and Directions, Jobs and Occupations, Family and Leisure, Food and Drink
There is no formal testing. Your work will be monitored by your tutor and you will have regular homework involving preparation and grammar or written exercises.
Courses are run over ten week terms; three per year and you will be able to join these to further develop skills.
Learners may wish to purchase additional study aids such as CDs, workbooks, dictionaries and grammar books, all of which are optional.
Equipment to be provided by student: Ringbinder, note book and pen
Certificate of Completion presented to students at the end of the course
Extra Cost : Course Book £16.00 approx. Students will be advised by the Centre when to purchase this book in Term 1
