Yoga and Relaxation – Tutor: Chris Regan
Yoga is a commonly known generic term for the physical, mental and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India with a view to attain a state of permanent peace. We run several Yoga courses suitable for beginners to the more experienced student.
This course aims to develop Yoga as a method of developing the whole person: Body, Mind, Emotions and Spirit via Physical Techniques- building strength, suppleness, stamina and skills, breathing, concentration and relaxation strategies as well as Philosophy for daily living.
It is ideal for those with at least 1 plus years of experience of consistent practice wishing to further develop physical skills, stamina, mental control and endurance, the practice and study of breathing/concentration techniques and their understanding of Yoga as a life Science / Art.
All costs are included in these courses. Students are advised to bring a mat and a bottle of water or juice. (An exercise mat /camping mat will do to start with).
